sick

This weekend has been a blah weekend!  I had all these fun things planned, then Thurs night I started to feel 'run-down.'  I did go to a drug promo dinner Thurs and ate lots of delicious sushi with Cheryl, my co-worker.  It was great fun catching up with her.  The sore throat began that night.  Next morning the nausea set in.  I popped a few different pills to see if I could stop it from progressing.  Friday day was ok.  There were a few times I wasn't sure if I would make it through the day.  Good thing I did, we were booked.  I made it to a friends reception, and swung by the U7th reunion.  However, I could tell I wasn't feeling so great.  I was having 'hot flashes' aka low grade fever and no desire to really talk to anyone.  After visiting with friends and relaxing with an old roommate, I headed home and CRASHED into bed.  I barely said hello to Jenna.  Sat I felt better after being lazy and having a hot shower.

fall frenzy

I went to Fall Frenzy over the weekend.  My buddy, Derik, and I were one of many lucky groupies that got their picture taken by cricket.  Here's the awesome picture.  Rachel, Zac, and Josh came with us the second day. It was a fun, eventful weekend with various artists and people watching.  The best band, by far, was Weezer.  They were entertainers and full of happy energy. Don't tell, but I secretly have a crush on Rivers, the lead singer.  I find his plaid shirts, khaki pants, and glasses adorable.

FB

I deactivated my facebook account.  I decided I needed a break from my addiction.  I was spending way too much time 'catching up' on everyone else's lives via FB.  I think this will be a good change.

Summertime

I haven't been doing a good job at updating my blog.  I have had time since I am currently working part-time (with hopes that is pick up soon), but haven't felt like writing.  Here are some of the fun things that have happened to me over the past month:



1) celebrating my birthday with my family



2) having a paper airplane birthday race



3) Indulging in Sauce pizza



4) loving classic-posed photo moments with friends

5) bowling with friends

6) sushi tasting at a few new places

7) pool-time

8 ) cabin trip near Payson, AZ (the weather was amazing)

9) quad-ing

10) fall frenzy (multi-band concert in the park with highlights: STP, Primus, Sublime, and Weezer)
