Come Once, Date Thrice
My ward had their 3rd annual speed dating activity last week. I was picked up by one individual, Wayne, and enjoyed a lovely salad with him. We swapped dates and I had a nice slice of gluten free pizza while others, including my date Jordan, enjoyed lasagna. Again swapped dates and I had a nice gluten free chocolate chip cupcake while my 3rd date, Travis, enjoyed delicious looking pumpkin pie (that's what I really wanted to eat)! Travis kindly took me home. It was a fun evening!

Welcome Fall Dinner Party
We were serenaded by "Sounds of the Season" from our tv. It was very fitting for the array of topics we conversed on.
Guests: Kate Morley, Rachelle Babcock, Rachel Scoville, Sarah Scoville, Jenna Lathrop, Christina Contreras, Ashley Palmer
On the Menu: Butternut Squash Soup with a splash of cinnamon, Pear Cranberry Spinach Salad, Balsamic Vinaigrette Salmon and Chicken, Rice, and Homemade Pumpkin Pie with a dollop of Natural Vanilla Ice-cream
Entertainment: Removing Christina's suture s/p BCC
I believe the night was a success! Great entertainment, great food, and great company. A great way to start into the fall season.

rainy days
One afternoon off, I went to JP and Mary Ann's.
We had a down pour of rain, so we stayed inside and played legos!

I’ve become one of them…
Laugh at my expense. I'm okay with it.
There are those people that I see and always think: "I would never do something like that." For example, people that wear shorts with sandals and soaks. Or people that were holiday cardigans with multiple ornaments popping out. Or people who drive and put their make-up on at the same time. Or people that sing as they work.
Last night I became one of those people.
It was beautiful weather. I quickly changed after work into jeans and a t-shirt and got ready to take Baxter on a walk. Well, Bax was in a hurry, and I thought, "I'll just jog down the road to please Bax." Low and behold, I was energetic and wanted to keep going. I kept going. I was glad it was dark. I've always thought people that went to the gym or ran in jeans were off their rocker. Now I've done it! I've turned into one of those 'interesting' types of people.
I wonder what I will do next...

Pumpkin Rice Muffins
Mom brought me ground rice flour to help me with my food allergies cooking challenge. This is the first attempt at baking anything. They actually turned out pretty good. I would have enjoyed them more if I had added chocolate chips, but I didn't have any at home. Next time!
oops… didn’t see that radar
Yep, I got flashed by the radar police this summer! (fist clench) Dang!!

I decided to do traffic school. Online. I thought it would be more convenient and (hopefully) easier. It was convenient to do it from home. But there was strict regulations with it. It was quite a nuisance. I finally finished the course and took the exam. Yeah, done with that.
Now I need to watch my speed!
