I finally started this fabric chandelier that I fell in love with about six months ago on 100 Layers Cake. Granted, it took a lot more time that I had anticipated.

date with Bax
Life doesn't get much better than this in Arizona! I spent an afternoon off with Baxter. We stopped for lunch at Cafe Rio and headed to the Stephan's home. We played chase, lounged in the shade, and ran from Abigail and Madilyn.
...excited...
I finally purchased another Simmons Beautyrest mattress! I am stoked for its arrival sometime next week. My roommate, Amber, has graciously let me sleep one of her spare mattresses for the past two months. However, I am ready for my own super plush mattress. It was a very sad day when I sold my previous Beautyrest this past summer --- I slept so well on it. I have high hopes that this new mattress will be even better. Future results to come.

NYE 2011
Jake and I tried going to a restaurant for dinner but the wait was too long. It takes way too much effort to find a place that we both enjoy where I can eat with my food restrictions. So... we ended up making dinner at my house --- pesto with GF pasta, herbed brie cheese with crackers, a spinach salad, and tasty sparkling lemonade and martinelli's. We watched 'The Work and the Glory' trilogy on the BYU tv while playing Phase 10. We did watch the NY countdown and I made him play with sparklers. It was a great way to start off the new year.
Christmas in Utah
Marlene and Phil's family had Mom and me over for a Christmas dinner before they headed out of town. It was fantastic spending some time with the kids.

I received the book 'The Help' and an adorable polka-dot lunchbox. Thanks Scovilles!!
I didn't take any pictures on Christmas Eve or Day. Rachel and Zac made it in Saturday evening and we had a lovely meal that Mom prepared. We read the story of Christ's birth.
Sunday morning we rushed off to church after eating Baked Oatmeal, then enjoyed some lunch and opened our gifts. That evening the Muirs came down from Smithfield for Christmas dinner.
On our way to shopping, dining, and 'Sherlock Holmes' Monday before I headed back to Arizona.
christmas party
I met Mom in St George for her work Christmas party! We played some fun games and our table won!!! We also enjoyed walking a short trail at Snow Canyon Park, getting pedicures and haircuts, and watching Hugo in 3D.
While I was there, I met up with my childhood friend, Kimberly Hayes Driggs. It was great meeting for sushi and catching up on our lives!
tending adventures...
Spencer and Jonene took a vacation to Hawaii after their summer house fiasco's! I watched their kids... don't judge my tending skills!
Luke would wake up right after the girls got out the door for school. He'd happily watch Diego or Blues Clues while I got ready for the day.
The girls playing dress-up and school!
Out for our ride
