(!)

Every so often, on my cars dash the symbol (!) lights up.  At first I thought it would intermittently come on and off, so I thought it might not be that important.  Finally I looked through my manual and realized that it meant the air in my tires were low.  No big deal! Until my tires needed to be filled every time I was getting gasoline.  Well, at my 10,000-mile maintenance I asked them to double check the air pressure.  That is when they found the nail in my tire.  They didn’t have it in stock. So for weeks I have been waiting for them to let me know it was in.  I called for the 4th time today and actually talked to someone.  Finally!  The salesman was ever so nice and was able to fit me in this evening.  My tire is officially fixed.  Now I don’t have to worry about my tire shredding, or it causing a multi-car wreck on the freeway.  I have had a few nightmares about it lately.

new bed frame

The past few weeks I have been looking into buying a bed frame with a headboard and footboard, among other bedroom furniture.  I have been spending way too much time price shopping and color matching.  Well, today it paid off.  I have an idea of what I want my room to look like, but that will take some time.  And I knew the price range I wanted to be in.  Today Rachel and I went to do some errands and wedding stuff.  We went to Ikea.  I found many things I liked, but refrained from purchasing it all.

I did fall in love with this for the magnificent price of $99:

It will match well with my white furniture, walnut colored book shelf and chair, and green/gold/tan bedspread. I can't wait to actually move in to the new place and have everything set up.  It's gonna be great!  Moving should be accomplished by the end of next week.  Yay!

Headache. Headache. Go away. Please don’t come another day.

Constant. Throbbing. Pulsating. Pressure. Frontal region. Enough Already.

Zyrtec D. Veramyst. Salt water gargles. Humidifier. Daily routine.

Arizona is great.  Except for one thing: Allergies.  All the recent rain has caused my allergies to really flare up. With that, I can't seem to kick this stupid headache.  Each morning I wake up restless, and with a headache.  I am getting really tired of it lingering on.

another classic moment in the life of Sarah

Yesterday evening I decided to run some errands.  I headed out with a couple of jackets on since it has been raining, and quite chilly the past couple of days.  I start walking towards my car.  I am observing all the ladies loading presents into the back of the van parked very close to my car.  I continue walking without paying attention to the all the deep crevasses in the pavement. Yep, my shoe landed halfway in and halfway out.  Not a good combination.  It began with an ankle roll, making me spin with my arms flailing and bags flying.  I was unable to catch my balance, landed on my right side, and was eventually laying on my back for probably a whole millisecond that felt like a lifetime,  All the while, the ladies kept packing away their presents.  I was within 20 feet of their view.  Minutes later, or so it seemed, as I was collecting my things, one lady finally asked if I was alright.  Glad to know they care.  I was laughing hysterically at myself and my clumsiness.  This by all means is not the first or last fall I will have in my lifetime.  Then I had to wait a good five minutes for the lady to move away from the side of the van so my mirror didn't hit her as I backed out.  I continued to laugh for the next hour to myself as I ran around town.  Classic.  Too bad it wasn't on video.
